I want to start NOW, why do I have to do an Orientation?? The Orientation is to familiarize you with us and our systems and it let's us make sure our program is right for you. We check your movement patterns in squats and pushups and make corrections as needed. We TEACH you to use kettlebells safely. There are very few trainers in Louisville that are certified kettlebell instrcutors. I've trained most of them.Would you skydive without someone teaching you how to do it right???

I'm way out of shape, will I be able to keep up? YES! All of our workouts are scalable, if you can't do a pushup, we'll show you how to do them on your knees. Still too hard? Then we'll elevate your upper body more. Anything with weight is scalable. We work within your limits, just do your best. Remember to check with your physician prior to starting any training program!

How long are the workouts? Each class is one hour. We spend 5 minutes on Joint mobility, close to 10 minutes foam rolling, and another 5 mins on Dynamic Muscle Activation. Then we get into the main workout where we usually start with skill and strength work and progress to conditoining. We end each class with 5 to 10 minutes of stretching.

What kinds of things will we be doing? Ketlebell swings, dead cleans, presses, rows, squats, body-weight exercises, suspension training, heavy ropes and resistance band training

What are the class times? Monday/Wednesday/Friday 7-8a,

Mon & Wed only 5:15-6:15p, 6:30-7:30p

Fri 6pm

Mon - Sat 9-10a

Where are classes held? 2508 Plantside Dr, Louisville Ky 40299

What if I can't come 3 days per week? We offer 3x/wk and 2x/wk pricing. We have also added class card pricing. 8 sessions for $140 and you have 8 weeks to use them. Obviously the more sessions you attend the faster you will reach your goals.

How are theses classes different than going to the gym? Are you going to a gym now? Have you gone in the past? Are you or did you lose fat and get fit? My guess is that you didn't get anywhere attending a gym except for maybe the first month.

IronBody Fitness/Fitness Revolution Louisville Boot Camps offer:

  • Small groups for personal attention and motivation (usually no more than 20 people)
  • Accountability - Your fellow boot campers know what your goals are will will hold you accountable for attendance, training hard and sticking with your plan.
  • Boot Camps are much less expensive than hiring a personal trainer.
  • Group classes are FUN!

Why shouldn't I just buy the P90X or a Bowflex? You certainly can do either of those things, but be realistic. Can you motivate yourself to train 3 to 5 days per week at high intensity? Can you hide from the family to devote 30 minutes to an hour  to train? Will you ignore your kids if they start fighting? Coming to our boot camps forces you to focus on the NOW. Set aside your distractions for an hour and focus on YOU!

What do I need to bring? A towel, sweat bands for your wrists, shoes you can train outdoors in. When we train inside we train barefoot or in hard soled shoes. We provide bottled water.

What if I miss a class or even a week, do those session carry over to the next month? If you go to a gym and miss a week to they let your payment date slide a week? No, they don't and we don't either, we just can't afford to do that. If you know youy will be out for an extended period for surgery or work we can work with you.

Can I bring a friend? Sure! But they can't train with us, except for special Bring A Friend Saturdays, becuase they need to attend an Orientation too. But if they do and sign-up you will get a referral bonus in the form of reduced dues, so the more friends you send to us the lower your monthly dues will be!

I see you have an Advanced Class. Can I come to them if I can't make a regular boot camp class? No, sorry. Those are advanced classes and require extensive kettlebell training and is by invitation only. The Advanced Classes are much more intense and require a level of mastery of the basics. It generally takes most people 3 to 4 months of the basics before I will allow someone to move up. This is totally at my discretion. Some people will never be ready due to physical limitations. Some may be ready sooner but I require at least one month of consistant attendance before I will consider promoting someone to the advanced class.
